25 At-Tawbah 9:25

لَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِى مَوَاطِنَ كَثِيرَةٍ ۙ وَيَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ ۙ إِذْ أَعْجَبَتْكُمْ كَثْرَتُكُمْ فَلَمْ تُغْنِ عَنكُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُم مُّدْبِرِينَ

TRANSLITERATION

Laqad naṣarakumullāhu fī mawāṭina kathīratiw wayawma ḥunaynin idh aʿjabatkum kathratukum falam tughni ʿankum shayʾaw waḍāqat ʿalaykumul-arḍu bimā raḥubat thumma wallaytum mudbirīn

ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI

God has given you victory in numerous regions; but on the day of Hunayn, your great number impressed you, but it availed you nothing; and the land, as spacious as it was, narrowed for you; and you turned your backs in retreat.
