Text, translation & sources
Arabic Quran text and English translation are presented separately. The translation explains meanings and is not the Arabic Quran itself.
Arabic Quran text
We use the Tanzil Uthmani text, preserved without editorial changes. Opening Bismillah text is displayed separately where applicable. Al-Fatihah includes Bismillah as verse 1; none is added before At-Tawbah.

English translation
Translation by Talal Itani, ClearQuran.com, God Edition, source release 2026-10-09. This is distinct from The Clear Quran by Mustafa Khattab. Text is reproduced unchanged, with verse numbers stored separately for navigation.

Verification
The build checks all 114 surahs and 6,236 verse identifiers against the source files. The English data was compared with the publisher’s original file. These are text-integrity checks, not a claim of religious endorsement or a newly authored translation.
99 names of Allah
Arabic names follow the referenced traditional list. English meanings are concise explanatory labels. The authentic hadith about ninety-nine names does not itself enumerate the complete list; scholars discuss differences between enumerations.
