وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ كَانَ يَـُٔوسًا
TRANSLITERATIONWaʾidhā anʿamnā ʿalal-insāni aʿraḍa wanaʾā bijānibih, waʾidhā massahush-sharru kāna yaʾūsā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANIWhen We bless the human being, he turns away and distances himself. But when adversity touches him, he is in despair.
