وَإِذْ قَالُوا۟ ٱللَّهُمَّ إِن كَانَ هَـٰذَا هُوَ ٱلْحَقَّ مِنْ عِندِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَوِ ٱئْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
TRANSLITERATION
Waʾidh qālullāhumma in kāna hādhā huwal-ḥaqqa min ʿindika faʾamṭir ʿalaynā ḥijāratam minas-samāʾi awiʾtinā biʿadhābin alīm
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
And they said, “Our God, if this is the truth from You, then rain down on us stones from the sky, or visit us with a painful affliction.”
