فَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهُم بِجَهَازِهِمْ جَعَلَ ٱلسِّقَايَةَ فِى رَحْلِ أَخِيهِ ثُمَّ أَذَّنَ مُؤَذِّنٌ أَيَّتُهَا ٱلْعِيرُ إِنَّكُمْ لَسَـٰرِقُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Falammā jahhazahum bijahāzihim jaʿalas-siqāyata fī raḥli akhīhi thumma adhdhana muʾadhdhinun ayyatuhal-ʿīru innakum lasāriqūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Then, when he provided them with their provisions, he placed the drinking-cup in his brother’s saddlebag. Then an announcer called out, “O people of the caravan, you are thieves.”
