قَالَ هِىَ رَٰوَدَتْنِى عَن نَّفْسِى ۚ وَشَهِدَ شَاهِدٌ مِّنْ أَهْلِهَآ إِن كَانَ قَمِيصُهُۥ قُدَّ مِن قُبُلٍ فَصَدَقَتْ وَهُوَ مِنَ ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Qāla hiya rāwadatnī ʿan nafsī washahida shāhidum min ahlihā, in kāna qamīṣuhū qudda min qubulin faṣadaqat wahuwa minal-kādhibīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
He said, “It was she who tried to seduce me.” A witness from her household suggested: “If his shirt is torn from the front: then she has told the truth, and he is the liar.
