وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَـٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِى شَكٍّ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌ
TRANSLITERATION
Wamā kāna lahū ʿalayhim min sulṭānin illā linaʿlama may yuʾminu bil-ākhirati mimman huwa minhā fī shakk, warabbuka ʿalā kulli shayʾin ḥafīẓ
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
He had no authority over them; except that We willed to distinguish him who believes in the Hereafter, from him who is doubtful about it. Your Lord is Guardian over all things.
