وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْ رُسُلُنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ بِٱلْبُشْرَىٰ قَالُوا۟ سَلَـٰمًا ۖ قَالَ سَلَـٰمٌ ۖ فَمَا لَبِثَ أَن جَآءَ بِعِجْلٍ حَنِيذٍ
TRANSLITERATION
Walaqad jāʾat rusulunā ibrāhīma bil-bushrā qālū salāmā, qāla salāmun famā labitha an jāʾa biʿijlin ḥanīdh
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Our messengers came to Abraham with good news. They said, “Peace.” He said, “Peace.” Soon after, he came with a roasted calf.
