فَلَمْ يَكُ يَنفَعُهُمْ إِيمَـٰنُهُمْ لَمَّا رَأَوْا۟ بَأْسَنَا ۖ سُنَّتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى قَدْ خَلَتْ فِى عِبَادِهِۦ ۖ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Falam yaku yanfaʿuhum īmānuhum lammā raʾaw baʾsanā, sunnatallāhil-latī qad khalat fī ʿibādih, wakhasira hunālikal-kāfirūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
But their faith could not help them once they witnessed Our might. This has been God’s way of dealing with His servants. And there and then the disbelievers lost.
