مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ قَالُوا۟ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنَّا بَل لَّمْ نَكُن نَّدْعُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ شَيْـًٔا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Min dūnillāh, qālū ḍallū ʿannā bal lam nakun nadʿū min qablu shayʾā, kadhālika yuḍillullāhul-kāfirīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Instead of God?” They will say, “They have abandoned us. In fact, we were praying to nothing before.” Thus God sends the disbelievers astray.
