وَإِذَآ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٍ
TRANSLITERATION
Waʾidhā anʿamnā ʿalal-insāni aʿraḍa wanaʾā bijānibih, waʾidhā massahush-sharru fadhū duʿāʾin ʿarīḍ
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
When We provide comfort for the human being, he withdraws and distances himself; but when adversity befalls him, he starts lengthy prayers.
