۞ وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُوا۟ لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ خَـٰسِرِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Waqayyaḍnā lahum quranāʾa fazayyanū lahum mā bayna aydīhim wamā khalfahum waḥaqqa ʿalayhimul-qawlu fī umamin qad khalat min qablihim minal-jinni wal-ins, innahum kānū khāsirīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
We had assigned companions for them, who glamorized to them what was in front of them, and what was behind them. And the Word proved true against them in communities of jinn and humans that have passed away before them. They were losers.
