فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِّلْـَٔاخِرِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Fajaʿalnāhum salafaw wamathalal lil-ākhirīn

Thus We made them a precedent and an example for the others.
