وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَـٰقَوْمِ لِمَ تُؤْذُونَنِى وَقَد تَّعْلَمُونَ أَنِّى رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓا۟ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْفَـٰسِقِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Waʾidh qāla mūsā liqawmihī yāqawmi lima tuʾdhūnanī waqat taʿlamūna annī rasūlullāhi ilaykum, falammā zāghū azāghallāhu qulūbahum, wallāhu lā yahdil-qawmal-fāsiqīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
When Moses said to his people, “O my people, why do you hurt me, although you know that I am God’s messenger to you?” And when they swerved, God swerved their hearts. God does not guide the sinful people.
