ٱلزَّانِيَةُ وَٱلزَّانِى فَٱجْلِدُوا۟ كُلَّ وَٰحِدٍ مِّنْهُمَا مِا۟ئَةَ جَلْدَةٍ ۖ وَلَا تَأْخُذْكُم بِهِمَا رَأْفَةٌ فِى دِينِ ٱللَّهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ ۖ وَلْيَشْهَدْ عَذَابَهُمَا طَآئِفَةٌ مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Az-zāniyatu waz-zānī fajlidū kulla wāḥidim minhumā miʾata jaldah, walā taʾkhudhkum bihimā raʾfatun fī dīnillāhi in kuntum tuʾminūna billāhi wal-yawmil-ākhir, walyashhad ʿadhābahumā ṭāʾifatum minal-muʾminīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
The adulteress and the adulterer—whip each one of them a hundred lashes, and let no pity towards them overcome you regarding God’s law, if you believe in God and the Last Day. And let a group of believers witness their punishment.
