فَكَيْفَ إِذَآ أَصَـٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيهِمْ ثُمَّ جَآءُوكَ يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَدْنَآ إِلَّآ إِحْسَـٰنًا وَتَوْفِيقًا
TRANSLITERATION
Fakayfa idhā aṣābathum muṣībatum bimā qaddamat aydīhim thumma jāʾūka yaḥlifūna billāh, in aradnā illā iḥsānaw watawfīqā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
How about when a disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forward, and then they come to you swearing by God: “We only intended goodwill and reconciliation”?
