144 An-Nisa 4:144

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۚ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَـٰنًا مُّبِينًا

TRANSLITERATION

Yā ayyuhal-ladhīna āmanū lā tattakhidhul-kāfirīna awliyāʾa min dūnil-muʾminīn, aturīdūna an tajʿalū lillāhi ʿalaykum sulṭānam mubīnā

ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI

O you who believe! Do not befriend disbelievers rather than believers. Do you want to give God a clear case against you?
