وَلَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ لَجَعَلَكُمْ أُمَّةً وَٰحِدَةً وَلَـٰكِن يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Walaw shāʾallāhu lajaʿalakum ummataw wāḥidataw walākiy yuḍillu may yashāʾu wayahdī may yashāʾ, walatusʾalunna ʿammā kuntum taʿmalūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Had God willed, He would have made you one congregation, but He leaves astray whom He wills, and He guides whom He wills. And you will surely be questioned about what you used to do.
