وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُم بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُۥ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ
Waʾidhā bushshira aḥaduhum bil-unthā ẓalla wajhuhū muswaddaw wahuwa kaẓīm
And when one of them is given news of a female infant, his face darkens, and he chokes with grief.
