وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلَـٰلَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Walaqad baʿathnā fī kulli ummatir rasūlan aniʿbudullāha wajtanibuṭ-ṭāghūt, faminhum man hadallāhu waminhum man ḥaqqat ʿalayhiḍ-ḍalālah, fasīrū fil-arḍi fanẓurū kayfa kāna ʿāqibatul-mukadhdhibīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
To every community We sent a messenger: “Worship God, and avoid idolatry.” Some of them God guided, while others deserved misguidance. So travel through the earth, and see what the fate of the deniers was.
