فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا بَيِّنَـٰتٍ قَالُوا۟ مَا هَـٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحْرٌ مُّفْتَرًى وَمَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَـٰذَا فِىٓ ءَابَآئِنَا ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Falammā jāʾahum mūsā biʾāyātinā bayyinātin qālū mā hādhā illā siḥrum muftaraw wamā samiʿnā bihādhā fī ābāʾinal-awwalīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
But when Moses came to them with Our signs, clear and manifest, they said, “This is nothing but fabricated magic, and we never heard of this from our ancestors of old.”
