قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ أَيَّمَا ٱلْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَٰنَ عَلَىَّ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ
TRANSLITERATION
Qāla dhālika baynī wabaynak, ayyamal-ajalayni qaḍaytu falā ʿudwāna ʿalayy, wallāhu ʿalā mā naqūlu wakīl
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
He said, “Let this be an agreement between you and me. Whichever of the two terms I fulfill, there shall be no reprisal against me; and God is witness over what we say.”
