يَقُولُونَ لَئِن رَّجَعْنَآ إِلَى ٱلْمَدِينَةِ لَيُخْرِجَنَّ ٱلْأَعَزُّ مِنْهَا ٱلْأَذَلَّ ۚ وَلِلَّهِ ٱلْعِزَّةُ وَلِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Yaqūlūna laʾir rajaʿnā ilal-madīnati layukhrijannal-aʿazzu minhal-adhall, walillāhil-ʿizzatu walirasūlihī walilmuʾminīna walākinnal-munāfiqīna lā yaʿlamūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
They say, “If we return to the City, the more powerful therein will evict the weak.” But power belongs to God, and His Messenger, and the believers; but the hypocrites do not know.
