ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
TRANSLITERATIONIttakhadhū aymānahum junnatan faṣaddū ʿan sabīlillāh, innahum sāʾa mā kānū yaʿmalūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANIThey treat their oaths as a cover, and so they repel others from God’s path. Evil is what they do.
