ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَـٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِينٌ
TRANSLITERATIONIttakhadhū aymānahum junnatan faṣaddū ʿan sabīlillāhi falahum ʿadhābum muhīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANIThey took their oaths as a screen, and prevented others from God’s path. They will have a shameful punishment.
