وَلَوْ كَانُوا۟ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلنَّبِىِّ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مَا ٱتَّخَذُوهُمْ أَوْلِيَآءَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Walaw kānū yuʾminūna billāhi wan-nabiyyi wamā unzila ilayhi mattakhadhūhum awliyāʾa walākinna kathīram minhum fāsiqūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Had they believed in God and the Prophet, and in what was revealed to him, they would not have befriended them. But many of them are immoral.
