يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ وَٱلْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَآءَ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Yā ayyuhal-ladhīna āmanū lā tattakhidhul-ladhīnattakhadhū dīnakum huzuwaw walaʿibam minal-ladhīna ūtul-kitāba min qablikum wal-kuffāra awliyāʾ, wattaqullāha in kuntum muʾminīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
O you who believe! Do not befriend those who take your religion in mockery and as a sport, be they from among those who were given the Scripture before you, or the disbelievers. And obey God, if you are believers.
