وَقَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَـٰرِهِم بِعِيسَى ٱبْنِ مَرْيَمَ مُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ ۖ وَءَاتَيْنَـٰهُ ٱلْإِنجِيلَ فِيهِ هُدًى وَنُورٌ وَمُصَدِّقًا لِّمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةً لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Waqaffaynā ʿalā āthārihim biʿīsabni maryama muṣaddiqal limā bayna yadayhi minat-tawrāh, waʾātaynāhul-injīla fīhi hudaw wanūruw wamuṣaddiqal limā bayna yadayhi minat-tawrāti wahudaw wamawʿiẓatal lil-muttaqīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
In their footsteps, We sent Jesus son of Mary, fulfilling the Torah that preceded him; and We gave him the Gospel, wherein is guidance and light, and confirming the Torah that preceded him, and guidance and counsel for the righteous.
