فَٱنطَلَقَا حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا لَقِيَا غُلَـٰمًا فَقَتَلَهُۥ قَالَ أَقَتَلْتَ نَفْسًا زَكِيَّةًۢ بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ لَّقَدْ جِئْتَ شَيْـًٔا نُّكْرًا
TRANSLITERATION
Fanṭalaqā, ḥattā idhā laqiyā ghulāman faqatalahū qāla aqatalta nafsan zakiyyatam bighayri nafs, laqad jiʾta shayʾan nukrā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Then they set out. Until, when they encountered a boy, he killed him. He said, “Did you kill a pure soul, who killed no one? You have done something terrible.”
