يَسْمَعُ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
TRANSLITERATION
Yasmaʿu āyātillāhi tutlā ʿalayhi thumma yuṣirru mustakbiran kaʾal lam yasmaʿhā, fabashshirhu biʿadhābin alīm
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Who hears God’s revelations being recited to him, yet he persists arrogantly, as though he did not hear them. Announce to him a painful punishment.
