أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَيْفَ مَدَّ ٱلظِّلَّ وَلَوْ شَآءَ لَجَعَلَهُۥ سَاكِنًا ثُمَّ جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّمْسَ عَلَيْهِ دَلِيلًا
TRANSLITERATION
Alam tara ilā rabbika kayfa maddaẓ-ẓill, walaw shāʾa lajaʿalahū sākinā, thumma jaʿalnash-shamsa ʿalayhi dalīlā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Do you not see how your Lord extends the shadow? Had He willed, He could have made it still. And We made the sun a pointer to it.
