وَإِذْ وَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذْتُمُ ٱلْعِجْلَ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمْ ظَـٰلِمُونَ
TRANSLITERATIONWaʾidh wāʿadnā mūsā arbaʿīna laylatan thummattakhadhtumul-ʿijla mim baʿdihī waʾantum ẓālimūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANIAnd recall that We appointed for Moses forty nights. Then you took to worshiping the calf after him, and you turned wicked.
