لَآ إِكْرَاهَ فِى ٱلدِّينِ ۖ قَد تَّبَيَّنَ ٱلرُّشْدُ مِنَ ٱلْغَىِّ ۚ فَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱسْتَمْسَكَ بِٱلْعُرْوَةِ ٱلْوُثْقَىٰ لَا ٱنفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
TRANSLITERATION
Lā ikrāha fid-dīn, qat tabayyanar-rushdu minal-ghayy, famay yakfur biṭ-ṭāghūti wayuʾmim billāhi faqadistamsaka bil-ʿurwatil-wuthqā lanfiṣāma lahā, wallāhu samīʿun ʿalīm
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
There shall be no compulsion in religion; the right way has become distinct from the wrong way. Whoever renounces evil and believes in God has grasped the most trustworthy handle, which does not break. God is Hearing and Knowing.
