كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا ٱلْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ وَٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
TRANSLITERATION
Kutiba ʿalaykum idhā ḥaḍara aḥadakumul-mawtu in taraka khayrā, al-waṣiyyatu lil-wālidayni wal-aqrabīna bil-maʿrūf, ḥaqqan ʿalal-muttaqīn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
It is decreed for you: when death approaches one of you, and he leaves wealth, to make a testament in favor of the parents and the relatives, fairly and correctly—a duty upon the righteous.
