مَثَلُهُمْ كَمَثَلِ ٱلَّذِى ٱسْتَوْقَدَ نَارًا فَلَمَّآ أَضَآءَتْ مَا حَوْلَهُۥ ذَهَبَ ٱللَّهُ بِنُورِهِمْ وَتَرَكَهُمْ فِى ظُلُمَـٰتٍ لَّا يُبْصِرُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Mathaluhum kamathalil-ladhistawqada nārā, falammā aḍāʾat mā ḥawlahū dhahaballāhu binūrihim watarakahum fī ẓulumātil lā yubṣirūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Their likeness is that of a person who kindled a fire; when it illuminated all around him, God took away their light, and left them in darkness, unable to see.
