وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ نَبَذَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ كِتَـٰبَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Walammā jāʾahum rasūlum min ʿindillāhi muṣaddiqul limā maʿahum nabadha farīqum minal-ladhīna ūtul-kitāba kitāballāhi warāʾa ẓuhūrihim kaʾannahum lā yaʿlamūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
And when there came to them a messenger from God, confirming what they had, a faction of those who were given the Book threw the Book of God behind their backs, as if they do not know.
