8 Al-'Ankabut 29:8

وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِن جَـٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَآ ۚ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ

TRANSLITERATION

Wawaṣṣaynal-insāna biwālidayhi ḥusnā, waʾin jāhadāka litushrika bī mā laysa laka bihī ʿilmun falā tuṭiʿhumā, ilayya marjiʿukum faʾunabbiʾukum bimā kuntum taʿmalūn

ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI

We have advised the human being to be good to his parents. But if they urge you to associate with Me something you have no knowledge of, do not obey them. To Me is your return; and I will inform you of what you used to do.
