وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Wayastaʿjilūnaka bil-ʿadhāb, walawlā ajalum musammal lajāʾahumul-ʿadhāb, walayaʾtiyannahum baghtataw wahum lā yashʿurūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
And they urge you to hasten the punishment. Were it not for a specified time, the punishment would have come to them. But it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware.
