ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَآقُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ وَمَن يُشَاقِقِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
TRANSLITERATION
Dhālika biʾannahum shāqqullāha warasūlah, wamay yushāqiqillāha warasūlahū faʾinnallāha shadīdul-ʿiqāb
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
That is because they opposed God and His Messenger. Whoever opposes God and His Messenger—God is severe in retribution.
