وَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَةٌ قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْمِنَ حَتَّىٰ نُؤْتَىٰ مِثْلَ مَآ أُوتِىَ رُسُلُ ٱللَّهِ ۘ ٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ حَيْثُ يَجْعَلُ رِسَالَتَهُۥ ۗ سَيُصِيبُ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ صَغَارٌ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَمْكُرُونَ
TRANSLITERATION
Waʾidhā jāʾathum āyatun qālū lan nuʾmina ḥattā nuʾtā mithla mā ūtiya rusulullāh, allāhu aʿlamu ḥaythu yajʿalu risālatah, sayuṣībul-ladhīna ajramū ṣaghārun ʿindallāhi waʿadhābun shadīdum bimā kānū yamkurūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
When a sign comes to them, they say, “We will not believe unless we are given the like of what was given to God’s messengers.” God knows best where to place His message. Humiliation from God and severe torment will afflict the criminals for their scheming.
