يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ قُل لِّأَزْوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يُدْنِينَ عَلَيْهِنَّ مِن جَلَـٰبِيبِهِنَّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدْنَىٰٓ أَن يُعْرَفْنَ فَلَا يُؤْذَيْنَ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا
TRANSLITERATION
Yā ayyuhan-nabiyyu qul liʾazwājika wabanātika wanisāʾil-muʾminīna yudnīna ʿalayhinna min jalābībihinn, dhālika adnā ay yuʿrafna falā yuʾdhayn, wakānallāhu ghafūrar raḥīmā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
O Prophet! Tell your wives, and your daughters, and the women of the believers, to lengthen their garments. That is more proper, so they will be recognized and not harassed. God is Forgiving and Merciful.
