وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ إِذَا قَضَى ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَمْرًا أَن يَكُونَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِمْ ۗ وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلًا مُّبِينًا
TRANSLITERATION
Wamā kāna limuʾminiw walā muʾminatin idhā qaḍallāhu warasūluhū amran ay yakūna lahumul-khiyaratu min amrihim, wamay yaʿṣillāha warasūlahū faqad ḍalla ḍalālam mubīnā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
It is not for any believer, man or woman, when God and His Messenger have decided a matter, to have liberty of choice in their decision. Whoever disobeys God and His Messenger has gone far astray.
