وَقَرْنَ فِى بُيُوتِكُنَّ وَلَا تَبَرَّجْنَ تَبَرُّجَ ٱلْجَـٰهِلِيَّةِ ٱلْأُولَىٰ ۖ وَأَقِمْنَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَءَاتِينَ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ وَأَطِعْنَ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥٓ ۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمُ ٱلرِّجْسَ أَهْلَ ٱلْبَيْتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمْ تَطْهِيرًا
TRANSLITERATION
Waqarna fī buyūtikunna walā tabarrajna tabarrujal-jāhiliyyatil-ūlā waʾaqimnaṣ-ṣalāta waʾātīnaz-zakāta waʾaṭiʿnallāha warasūlah, innamā yurīdullāhu liyudhhiba ʿankumur-rijsa ahlal-bayti wayuṭahhirakum taṭhīrā
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
And settle in your homes; and do not display yourselves, as in the former days of ignorance. And perform the prayer, and give regular charity, and obey God and His Messenger. God desires to remove all impurity from you, O People of the Household, and to purify you thoroughly.
