وَلَقَدْ كَانُوا۟ عَـٰهَدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مِن قَبْلُ لَا يُوَلُّونَ ٱلْأَدْبَـٰرَ ۚ وَكَانَ عَهْدُ ٱللَّهِ مَسْـُٔولًا
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANI
Although they had made a pledge to God, in the past, that they will not turn their backs. A pledge to God is a responsibility.
