وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
TRANSLITERATIONWalaqad akhadhnā āla firʿawna bis-sinīna wanaqṣim minath-thamarāti laʿallahum yadhdhakkarūn
ENGLISH TRANSLATION · TALAL ITANIAnd We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with barren years, and with shortage of crops, that they may take heed.
